I had the misfortune to
once buy a Rover 825Si Sterling. If it wasn't for the fact that I'd previously had an Escort XR3i it would have been the worst car I ever owned.

I had a 827 sterling coupe
it was actually a very good car (mainly due to the Honda running gear)but some twunt in an xr2 ran into it and wrecked it :-(

I had the KR6 Rover engine in mine and it was a dog.
But not as much as the 3 gearboxes it had before I replaced it and quickly went back to BMW. ( I did have a merc E320 for a while but that was such a boring old man's car ).
