
Depends on the place you're applying for if the company ethos is a bit more 'out there' 'wackiness' a different approach could be beneficial.. also it can help you're application stand out from the rest.
but it can equally make it all go tits up :D
I'd say do the honest approach but don't over do it.

I dont think I should write,
Because where I really want to work are not employing graduates due to the fucking recession so Im applying for anything so I can do that for a couple of years then leave and aspire to the career I really want to do.
I doubt that will go down well :D
