My recent tripto London has made me realise how much I miss the city. Being in the sticks I don't get the adrenaline rush of such times as a man was walking through Shepherd's Bush with a sub machine gun threatening to shoot kids.
(Rash decision, pushed kids towards our basement flat ( fuck off, not for that ;)) and confronted gunman. Eventually took his replica gun from him and sat on him until police came.
I'm not saying at what point I saw it was a replica, that would ruin my hero status in Shepherd's Bush ( where I had previously chased and caught a burglar ).
I like the rush. Best I have here is irritating squirrels.
