where is my custard doughnut? NOWHERE, that's where. Cos they are either slice or ball-shaped. No ring-custard doghnut for me.

but I don't see any a priori reason why a toroidal dough-shaped space should not contain (in principle) a finite amount of tasty tasty custard.
