That's why
you will get asked to read the FAQ as it explains file-size limits. 150k might be small, but on aboard full of ever changing pictures it soon adds up to megabytes of bandwidth every F5 and unfortunately some b3tans still live in lands of despots and bandwidth caps.

I wouldn't say that every F5 refresh added bandwidth
because as soon as the image is loaded it's cached on your browser but if people alter their threads or there's a lot of new images appearring then yes bandwidth can be crippled somewhat - however, that has never stopped anybody coming to b3ta on a regular basis. I think my bandwidth is capped by and fair useage policy which might explain why I get terrible lag at times but I still come here as often as I can.

Yeah I understand cacheing
and that's why I added the 'changing images' statement. No point going in to massive detail. Every new member should have read and understood the FAQ before their first post. It says so when you sign up. Perhaps people think it's like terms and conditions and ignore it.
I too have bandwidth caps. It's just gone up to 4TB a month, which is nice, because I'm going to go over my previous 2TB limit about 4 days before it resets this month.
