# An Evel Kinevel Storm Trooper helmet...

...an I idea I am toying with but am having trouble getting the stars n stripes to follow the contours of the helmet. I have created the banner separately as a straight design then tried to bend it to fit the helmet. Is there a better way to do it? If not, is there an easier way to fit it to the contours as free transform/warp isn't the easiest! All answer on a post card please!

P.S is it any good anyway?!

# It's ace.
I can't be of any help on the contours I fear. If freebs is still around he will probably have some good advice.

# try drawing the line you want the stars to follow as a single line with the pen tool
then make the stroke of that line the stars pattern (assuming you've saved it as a custom brush). I assume you're using illustrator for this?

# you are going to have to
draw the stripes and make them fit ( which should be easy ) or you are going to have to get a 3D model and map it on as a texture then export the stripes as an image to paste on your trooper image.
