# I must admit to being a complete newbie here
so I don't actually know what 'L-Lens' and 'non full frame body' mean!

I just had some spare cash and bought the 400d and now want to do more with it than take snaps!

Canon with the most versatile range

L-lens' are simply the best glass they produce, but come at at hideous cost. I spent £10K last year, and am making inroads on that this year

Full frame is a 'classic size' the camera shoots; most cameras are cropped; Wikipedia it :)

The last 'serious' camera I had was a Zenit E (SLR on the cheap) back in the 70's!
so it's all new now!
