# the idea is meant to be shit versions of good current objects
i.e. Amazon's Kindle is a pointless reinvention of the book

Although I'm not saying don't do anything, just seems to be some confusion in what Fraser put compared to what I wrote on the suggestion

# Oh, I see.
I took it as upgrades of things that don't need upgrading.

EDIT: 'sides, doesn't matter how clear you make the brief; people will still just shop/draw what they like (in this case it seems to be just shit products) and compo it. :P

# I've no problem with people going off on a tangent if they want
just trying to clarify the actual subject

# Oh really?
about the Kindle I mean. I've seen the name flying around on the web for ages ( el reg etc. ) and had no idea what it is.
Are you against electronic book readers?
I think it is the best thing ever invented since I discovered I could keep books on my old Handspring all those years ago.
I currently have at least 100 book titles ready to read at my leisure on my HTC Exec and to be honest it's probably one of the best inventions ever.

apologies if I don't appear to know what I'm talking about because I don't know what I'm talking about regarding the Kindle thing and I'm still too lazy to google it.
