It really does.
I still have a leather belt that I bought more than 20 years ago, and it's still in great shape.
But I don't wear animal skin any more, so I'm looking for good alternatives, without any luck so far.

Yeah, I used to have the attitude that it's long dead and it would just be wasteful not to continue to use it; but I really don't want to wear it any more.
