Nah, Wednesday evenings are far worsewhen everyone get their old reposts out for the new compo, threadrushing the one or two good new entries, while people go on shouting to put reposts in old threads, and that they don't fit the compo anyway.
I enjoy a good noob once a week, and the awkwardness* they sometimes bring with them.
