I was ten when I got interested in heavy metal

and "Stay Hungry" was the first record I recall buying

I grew out of it by age twelve

I borrowed my brother's cassingles of rocket and pour some sugar on me by def leppard

I didn't have any music of my own until my mid teens

yeah my brother's four years older

so until he moved out we shared a lot of music.

Quite which of us 'owned' "Hysteria" I don't recall..
I suspect neither of us really wanted it

my brother used to come into the room and crank pink floyd really fucking loud whenever i was practising the piano
