# Sorry for TJ
Im currently in my Uni library (very empty as its not term time) but Ide rather be at home, sadly Virgin Media forgot to send me a wirless router/modem.. I do how ever have a BT Home Hub 2.0..which isnt compatible with the virgin connection..I was informed by a BT engineer however that if I "get inside it and change the settings" I could connect.. ive googled etc, ( i gues my search terms are shite) cant find anything that looks like it can help.. Is there a B3tan in shining armour going to save me?! Ive got TF2 and Portal which Ive been waiting to download for 3 weeks now!!

Thanks in advance!

You just have to know what they are!

Does the router connect, e.g. the DSL and internet light come on?

If not check these settings.

Enter your "password" and "broadband username" which ends with (your email address)@adsl.virgin.net where asked in the router setup.

# I know this may be a crazy suggestion,
but why not enjoy a few days of not being shackled to the internets?

It might be fun. Also, waiting for the router from Virgin Media will at least mean that you will have support.

Cos when he said "get inside it".. i genuily had images of opening the front and playing with wires at first..(im tired.. the engineer woke me up at 8.30 today..causing me to run to check the phone line, locking my self out of my room..then having to nap on a sofa in nowt but my undies in a cold room till the letting agents offices opened up and I could get them..laughing their tits off..to come let me back in my room)
