And yeah, that's what Sai does when your trial runs out.
Brush is fun to use, but I did this in pen. I used to use mostly marker to colour, but I use almost all of them now.
I don't tend to use watercolour too much, but it is useful on occasion, I tend to use a lot of brush at the moment as just a general all tool, but pen is fun to mess with. I only use airbrush for a few things, and pencil tool when I'm just doing MS paint style stuff.
I've been using the clipping tool for this as well, as I did a sketch in a dark colour but then put it as yellow without having to mess with the colourising or anything. I think I'll use the clipping group some more.

I was trying to set it up like photoshop, which is missing the point somewhat.
What's the clipping tool? I can't find it.

The thing is, photoshop is for editing more and sai is for drawing. You can still edit things, but not as much as photoshop like photoshop can draw, but it doesn't feel as natural as with Sai.

yes I agree, Sai does the drawing part very well. I've not done much proper drawing recently.
