Back in the early days of Mac OS - they came out with ResEdit - all kinds of mischief was possibleand a friend of mine developed a 'System Error Bomb' that exploded after a series of dire warnings and melted down whatever was on the screen into random pixels then everything would go black! Took forever to come back to the original page while the Mac owner was freaking out. This was way before most people had modems, so it had to come in on a floppy disc...
