it got to #37 on imdb.It looks like a 'we are the real monsters' type film.
Apparently in 'I Am Legend' in the original ending, the vampires are revealed to be thinking, benevolent creatures who were merely attempting to rescue a vampire that Neville had captured earlier - yet another test audience ruins what could have been a good film.

I watched I Am Legend not long ago. It was started good, but the ending was stupid and pointless.
