Ahhhh...There's a bit on human cyclopes in the Exquisite Bodies exhibition at the Wellcome Collection. Apparently not all of them are stillborn - and, very occasionally, you'll get one that survives to adulthood.
Or, at least, you did before ultrasound meant you could spot it way before birth.
