I was privileged to see a frog eyed sprite get hit from the rear.The driver leapt out over the bonnet as the cockpit burst into flames.
He then sat on his haunches on the kerb and started crying. Apparently he'd spent 2 years restoring it and was taking it out for its first spin.
I nearly felt sorry for him, but I do enjoy a good bonfire.
