They were banned in our playground as they were'lethal weapons'. Them and leather footballs.

haha! Conkers were banned at mine...I once saw a forth year peg a first year from about 20 foot with a huge conker... Poor kid hit the floor like a brick, but it was a BEAUTIFUL throw...

Ha!I would have liked to see them ban conkers at my school considering there was a 200 year old chesnut tree in the playground!
