I bailed out in the end, Ped.It was a game called Trackmania that I'd been told good things about.
But two hours of trying to download the cunt stubbornly remained at 0%.
So I'll stick to my Nintendo DS.

HeyI just took a look at the Trackmania site, and I can't see how to download it. It looks like all the download buttons are disabled.
Is it basically on online racing game, or is there a single player game you can play locally?

As far as I can tell,one can indeed play it locally offline.
But my employers' laptop wouldn't let me do that.
And online games are - obviously - for twats.
Hence the retreat into DS-land.
