# Optimizing files is very easy. In this case, you just need to save it as a gif and reduce the colours until it's a reasonable size.
I'm not just being a cunt. There are still plenty of people on here with very limited bandwidth. I doubt your apology will really help with that.

Also: if you haven't got decent hosting of your own, use the built-in b3ta hosting. That way the file will actually cache. As the file stands, every time the page is reloaded it pulls down another 180kb.

But generally speaking, if it's a lot of text and flat blocks of colour, gif it and reduce the number of colours to reduce filesize. If it's a photo or lots of gradiated colour, jpg and reduce the 'quality' slider to reduce filesize.
SRSLY a 180kb is not a big deal and I'm mainly just being a dick because, well, I'm a dick. But the fact that it isn't cacheing is going to mean a lot of bandwidth for some users.
