As a West Country type myself I find it very upsetting when we are made to look foolish.Although it's extremely unfair that everyone's decided that London/northern/Scottish/Irish accents are 'cool' and ours is just hilarious. Bill Bailey can base an entire gig on it FFS.

As a West Country type myself I find it one of the most ridiculous accents apart from Brum.I actually really like the accent, but when you've got a proper yokel badly impersonating a London accent, it's ... well ... worthy of the ridicule I have heaped upon it.
