Oh yes - yes they are.
For fear of repeating myself, the first phrase is adapted, it was actually 'Fourrrr to ther floorrrrr fer the mutherfuckin aaardcore!' that I adapted. It was one of the most singularly depressingly hilarious things I've heard.

As a West Country type myself I find it very upsetting when we are made to look foolish.
Although it's extremely unfair that everyone's decided that London/northern/Scottish/Irish accents are 'cool' and ours is just hilarious. Bill Bailey can base an entire gig on it FFS.

As a West Country type myself I find it one of the most ridiculous accents apart from Brum.
I actually really like the accent, but when you've got a proper yokel badly impersonating a London accent, it's ... well ... worthy of the ridicule I have heaped upon it.

I have been living in Brum for the past 7 years.
My accent is now middle-class westcountry with a Brummie twang.
It's truly horrible :(
