ahhthe copy protection on those cassettes was fantastic. I used to have to get my dad to do it.

My favourite system of copy protection on the Spectrumwas the Lenslok. I had that for my copy of 'The Art Studio' (complete with Kempston Mouse).
The thing did not seem to be very durable - I remember it was eventually held together with sellotape.

No amount of tape or glue will get a response server going to make it work after they choose to stop.And those devices didn't crawl into your data and delete it, run on your machine in background
