A cunt was having to walk from Camden Town uphill to East Finchley earlier on
though slush, ice, and heavy snow; with a pro-camera and three L-lenses, and various flash guns on my back, with a foot containing a toe a broken almost exactly a year ago that has never seemed to heal, on top of being reasonably unfit these days, because there was a bit of snowfall on London which caused the Northern Line to die
The buses seemed to be all crashing up the A1000 as well, so that wasn't really an option. Five stops on the Northern Line, and it is reduced to torture and chaos.

the victoria line was fine earlier...
granted I only went form euston to st pancras, so it doesnt really count as a journey.
But there was problems at st pancras, most of the south eastern trains wernt working so I was lucky I managed to get home.
A tiny amount of snow and the country goes to shit

Come and live in Cardiff.
We haven't had any snow other than a very light sprinkling last night.

Yup yup.
Half an inch of slush on the road and the country grinds to a halt. You soft English wimps, you don't know what snow is! :P

I walked past one scene of chaos tonight
A double decker bus on the descent into East Finchley at a rude angle pointed more or less at the pavement, with the actual driver in complete brake down mode; and throwing all the passengers off the bus saying he had been on the go since seven, was physically exhausted, couldn't control the rig, and was quitting.
I hobbled on
