# I think it's enjoyable enough to catch it on iPlayer
the Triffids themselves aren't particularly scary... at all really... but it's a bit like the current Doctor Who 2-parter: entertaining yet don't expect it to be anywhere near as good as the book.

# Very well!
I know know what I'll be doing on NY Day. Bugger going for a walk; I'll curl up with tea, the cat, and some triffids.

# That sounds like a good plan
it was commented on saying that it's a bit like Doctor Who meets 28 Days Later - effectively 28 Days Later is Day of Triffids updated to a more sensible modern concept and much more believable - But if you can suspend your disbelief in walking carnivorous plants then it's good tea and biccy fodder :D

tea and biccy christmas cake and mince pies. With, perhaps, turkey and stuffing toasties, if there's any turkey left.

Oh, yes. The more I think about it, the better this idea gets.
