really? I think it ranks up there as one of my favourites...I hated Bioshock though. Loved System Shock, and when I heard it was the 'spiritual successor' I got all excited...
I hardly used the plasmids, only when it was plot specific; the weapon upgrade system felt tagged on, it was too easy and so on... I still can't understand why it's so popular.
In other news, STALKER 3 is out on friday.

I just loved the atmos, the style, gameplayI never played System Shock, so I wasn't playing it thinking "wahat a rip-off"
ME just left me cold. I'd heard so many good things about it and I settled down prepared to lose myself in it, and it was talking, bit of talking, some more talking, ooh choose a response, talking, ... I think it was an hour before I landed on the first planet. Or maybe it just felt like it.

Yeah, I see what you mean about that... I read the prequel book before it came out just for the hell of it, soso when it came out, I was straight into it...
If you ever get the chance, pick up a copy of System Shock 2. Hopefully GOG.com will get it in soon
