Some people we knoware eco-worriers to the 'nth degree (if that's the phrase). A few years ago now they put their car into the shop to have it converted to NPG when there was only one company doing this (and selling the stuff) in our area. We saw them walking down the road struggling with heavy shopping and their two small kids and slowed down to offer them a lift.
They refused to step into our BMW as it didn't run on eco friendly fuel and started to lecture us on carbon footprints. This is while we were on the roadside engine still running mind.
Once their car was converted it was nothing but trouble and they had to have it converted back.
