What the hell do clubcard points get you anyway?

I've always avoided them 'cos I think they're trying to track me from space, or something.

some places

give you a $5 coupon for anything - at least Duane Reade Drugstores in NYC does (after you accumulate 100 points)

Whenever I'm in NYC

I end up spending so much in Duane Reade I should get a card then! Do they give cards to forrins though?

why they wont - cause when you get the 100 points, you get the coupon on the receipt.

apart from the coupons, you effectively get 1% back

Every so often

I get coupons from them for, say, £1.50. Effectively a way of ensuring that you'll revisit the store just so you don't waste £1.50.
