Lose the vertical lines, they don't really happen in any old film stock (no matter what Hollywood says)over expose parts and try using guassian blurs with mess about with layer blending effects.
(I had to antique a load of photos of WW1 reenactors to make em look like they were shots from a film reel. took ages and was bloody hard to get convincing)
