Umm if I may be critical, while it looks nice and is a good visual effect it doesn't replicate the look old movie stock much.

over expose parts and try using guassian blurs with mess about with layer blending effects.
(I had to antique a load of photos of WW1 reenactors to make em look like they were shots from a film reel. took ages and was bloody hard to get convincing)
