So far, I'm thinking Isle of Wight, or somewhere with a damned good sandy beach. Abersoch is good, as is Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk.

Either way, you'll need a bucket, spade, beachball and beer.

try moving it along to Cromer/Sheringham way.
When the tide is right, there's some good beach to be found. plus, a few good pubs right near the beach too.
/and, it's only 10 mins from where I live, which would seal the deal for me, and at least one other b3tan I know
