Ok more of a classic play that was then released in book form rather than being a classic book but I don't care
By coincidence "The Mousetrap" began life as a radio play called "Three blind mice".

I have wrestled with death. He's never been able to do anything but his one routine match, which consists of cartoon high spots borrowed from Jackie Fargo and midget wrestlers, along with an assortment of tired old ripped off Buddy Rogers’ high spots.
