You really should wear slippers on that bare floor.
p.s. My late father-in-law was one of that strange breed who kept the remote for the TV … on top of the TV, and would get up … use it to change channel … then put it back on top of telly before sitting down. He also did this when he wanted to increase or decrease the volume.
I wanted to kill him at times.
