the original toy that Woody is based on is a character used during the civil right movement in America by racist groups
The toy cowboys (original name 'Kid Sid') were sold to fund court cases against equality legislation.
They also spoke racist propaganda when you pulled their string.

the guy who taught most of the animators to animate was called steve.
