One of those ants was me for a few years.
20 hours of train travel per week to do 40 hours work. The ticket was like taking a pay cut of about £3 per hour.
On the plus side, strolling across London Bridge at 07:45 with the first coffee of the day was always special.
Now I work from home and regularly give thanks to the God of Freelancing that I don't have to do that shit anymore.
