This is a normal post
There are two possibilities....

A) They had an awesome plot idea, but realised the protaganists would have to be female to make it work. This could be brilliant.

B) They had the idea to make the cast all female. THEN they had to write a plot around that. This could be shit.

I suspect it's B.
