Early in my experience with Scotch I picked up a bottle of Laphroaig quarter cask for the "smokiness".
It immediately reminded me of an awful experience as a youth where I mistakenly took a sip from a soda can someone had been using to ash their cigarette into.
I now use the bottle as a joke for guests to taste the worst scotch they've ever had.
