is that it turns from a liquid to a gas at room temperature, and the particles of mercury get into the lungs...
it is however completely harmless to drink, as it's so heavy it works it's way out...
however to drink it safely you must be absolutely sure that you are not inhaling it, as you drink it....
you certainly wouldn't want any "going down the wrong whole"

especially on coco pops. It turns the cereal silvery.
