there is a bigger problem in the wider "liberal communities"
one of the "tenets" of liberalism is to respect others beliefs and to not get shitty with people whose beliefs contrast yours...
so freedom of religion tends to get a "pass" from liberal people...
however, most religions are fiercely "ANTI-liberal" so it's an odd situation, it's a bit like throwing a party for people and man eating lions, and arguing that "the lions should be allowed in... even if they want to destroy me and everything about me"
now that's fucking retarded, liberals should be AGAINST religion as it's fiercely anti-liberal.
There has been a complete liberal pandering to islam, when the fact is, it's a religion, those are retarded and outdated, and leads to shit like this...
I consider myself a liberal, support peoples right to fuck who they want, and do mostly what they want... but religion is the exception... it's anti-me, so i'm anti- it.

I think people are entitled to believe whatever they want if it helps get them through life
just as long as it's not inflicted on anyone else against their will (which includes preaching ridiculous beliefs).
That's a pretty fair deal right? Or is that forcing my beliefs on other people :D

it depends if any of those beliefs
come with rigid organisational structures, and ambition for majority control of people and the planet... because that's where a belief and a religious belief tend to part company.
