Using the present participle of reflect in that context is plain weird.
You could say 'It reflects...'
Or maybe 'It is a reflection of...'
But 'it's reflecting that...' is plain weird.
Top tip: the McDonald's advert says 'I'm lovin' it'. No one says this in real life. 'I love it' is what people say.
