I think at this stage both emerging "sides" are perfectly capable of fucking up the party.
Blair didn't do this much damage to the party despite killing 100,000's just to feed his man crush on a yank.

True, well also apart from selling off gold reserves, PFI Hospitals & spiralling national debt.
It was pretty good going.

national debt was pretty stable until 2008,
about the same level or lower than they inherited from the tories as a % of GDP. From wiki:

I dont vote Lab but it's hard to blame them for global recessions

difficualt drawing a line under an old regime I suppose
Especially when he was a part of it himself. But yeah, he should have purged the old guard from his front bench before he did that. Or just not have done it

I've a lot more respect for a politician that admits mistakes were made and apologises.
I'd have even more respect if they hadn't fucked things up in the first place. Sadly, regardless of who's in power it will be a fucking shambles.

We're ignoring the last 2 years then?
And seeing as they were lining up to gobble city cock, allowing them to do pretty much whatever they want. That fed into the environment that led to the crash.
For fucks sake it's taken the bloody tories to investigate these cunts and exposed the shit ton of illegal crap they've been pulling.
I can blame them and I shall continue to do so.

Don't forget...
Removing taper relief on capital gains tax to encourage total short term-ism in the financial markets, MRSA, imprisonment without trial, ID cards...
Their main success was banning fox hunting. And that took them two terms to achieve.

Ok... so.
Apart from the 100,000's killed in Iraq, selling off gold reserves, PFI Hospitals, spiralling national debt, Removing taper relief on capital gains tax to encourage total short term-ism in the financial markets, MRSA, imprisonment without trial, ID cards.
What has Labour ever done to us?
