one of peoples general failings is that
if you make an anti-tory video they assume you are leftist, or pro labour... and that because you are pointing and laughing at one thing, that you must be a die hard supporter of the opposite to that thing.
which is silly... some people just want to point and laugh at every and anything... without showing allegiances in the process.

Thing is, politics is confrontational.
If you take a swing at one side it gets assumed you must be with the other lot.
See numerous anti EU posts here that get you labelled as a UKIP supporter.
Or anti clinton posts that must mean you love trump.
The reality is much more nuanced but people don't bother to bother to investigate motivations.
The genius of Spitting Image was they took a swing at everyone.
This stops political satire being boring propaganda.
