I am using Google's Chrome version 53
I think this is possibly a graphics card issue. I don't have one, just the onboard graphics of the motherboard.

I just looked in to this. There are no newer drivers (since 2009).
but I followed the instructions here... sparkylinux.org/forum/index.php?topic=2729.0 and the game is now slightly more playable. Thank you kind Sir.
Also, a new version of Chrome (54) since this morning too.
EDIT:Actually, it looks like the speed boost was down to the reboot I did rather than any settings. Chrome still can't do hardware acceleration on my old PC.
GPU process was unable to boot: GPU process launch failed.
Disabled Features: all
