This is a normal post If by "good fist" you mean ineffectual and bickering coalitions,
I couldn't agree more. PR is such a success in Belgium that they went without an elected government for nearly two years. Truly, democracy in action!

This is a normal post the Dutch seem to do ok
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_general_election,_2017
luckily they don't have to tolerate Geert Wilders as the official opposition

This is a normal post Yes Benny junior. Geert Wilders & Co only got twenty seats in the Dutch Parliament.
A mere 13% of all seats available. Truly a victory for the liberals and their wacky voting system. Islamophobia has been soundly defeated in the Netherlands. Well, that's how it was portrayed by the BBC and Guardian over here. Fake news. 13%, Benny jr. They'd have got nothing like that under FPTP. It may not be perfect, but it acts as a disinfectant that kills off the lunatic fringe, which liberals and moderates need to remember when they start whining about Populism. PR is Populism in electoral form.

I'm not advocating PR in the UK. PR clearly works for some.

This is a normal post Clearly not in Belgium if you want a democratically elected government,
or Holland, unless you're happy about over ten percent of your MPs being openly islamophobic and racist.
