
There are real, working solar roads in the Netherlands and France. Scaling up a volume by 50 times isn't impossible, it's just hard. The loop doesn't have to be a vacuum like NASA's spacecraft test chamber, it just has to be significantly lowered pressure.
I could probably go on, but I stopped watching after a few minutes. He needs half an hour to say "I don't think this is possible because it would be really hard."

But produces very little electricity for the price.
The French design is a bit less crap, but still, far better to cover buildings and parkings with conventional, cheap, high efficiency panels first.
