Number-prefixing the filenames would just work, why use metadata at all?

despite being slow, clunky and pointless if it works it looks really cool sometimes
for about three seconds of 'oooh!' and hipster woo... when it works, which it mostly doesn't. and even if it does it soon wont after an update. just file name, dude - you know it makes sense.

Providing you don't forget the leading zeros.
Plus, I've had to use media players in the past that completely ignore filenames and folder structures and only use metadata (yes, they were shit).
