I was under assumption wav does not support tags too. It does according to wikipedia, but for lots of things they are unexpected still.

Must be a feature that just didn't take off then
not much use in it if no software implemented it.
I think I'd stick with MP3 files.

If I can choose, I use WavPack/Ogg.
Still just filenames are good enough for me, no tags.
