It used to fly over my house in Reading most days, and I always stopped what I was doing to watch - if I was talking to someone on the phone it wasn't optional! I would have loved to fly on it, but as a consolation a flight I was on was following Concorde (it is always just "Concorde", not "a Concorde"!) as it was in a holding pattern - it was like chasing after a paper plane!
