This is a normal post I saw that one too. Balancing them was interesting to see.
I got a rough idea of how he marked the spindle to find the off-balance, but couldn't work out how he then fine tuned it.

but he was making marks on the spinning shaft to note roughly the imbalance, but then somehow he was tuning it more finely. I suppose it boils down to skill and experience.
