Does Mapgas have oxy in it?
The tube just seems to be getting filled with whatever mapgas is but then is able to burn along the tube. I can only assume there is some oxygen already in the gas.
Looks really cool.
might have to source some of that gas and build one myself.
Just need to figure out if I know any welders or mechanics...

No, just a mix of highly burnable stuff. I would think after each ignition it's drawing in air as the gas cools.
You can buy it at screwfix. It's good for brazing with.

that thing works a bit like the new air blasters ( www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/airzooka ). Barely knocks the empty bottles over too. I suppose you could fill the new thing with gas and fire it at a candle in the distance, one strategically placed just in front of some fresh fish/cat food.
