I hadn't noticed a market problem
When I bought my first house there was a problem, I thought - interest rates were over 10 per cent and I had to buy in a SE London shit hole. Then there was black Wednesday and I think rates spiked at 18 per cent. They removed tax relief of mortgage interest. I thought I was fucked forever. Wrongly so.
If you don't like house prices in the SE, move north.
